I saw Hellboy II last night with a couple friends. I always love the way Guillermo del Toro designs stuff, and it was a fun movie. I loved the character of Prince Nuada, so the movie made me a bit sad. He and his sister were both cool, it was nice to see some more true-to-folklore elves rather than the LULZ-I-CAN-HAS-GREAT-HAIR kind, and I felt for his plight, I wish it had gone better. Lol genocide. The incestuous vibes were also great. I'm not sure why, but incest always makes things better for me. 8D
ANYWAY, crappy sketch is crappy but I'm going camping for a week so this was my only chance to color on the computer with the movie still fresh in my mind. I improvised the design on his spear handle, because I'll be damned if I'm gonna recreate the entire goddamn pattern from reference. I guess I messed up his belt because the reference picture I used for it was this figure bust of him, and in the actual movie his belt was all red, without any blackness. I FEEL LIED TO. D8<
Anyway, he's from Hellboy II, not mine, I may draw him again later at some point. NEEDS MOAR FANART.
I love the expression you gave him... sad and angry. A very beautiful fanart for what will surely be a growing fandom.

Oh, and btw... the belt is only solid red in parts of the movie. In other parts, it has the bit of black that you show. See, like here: [link]

DAAAAAAAAW he's so cute! I think this is what I would picture a slightly younger nuada looking like. But either way great pose, and wonderfull hair! and jeex all the detailing of the outfit. BONUS POINTS!!!!!
